The term "Bank Owned" has been added to the feature set "Disclosure/restrictions" on all input screens in DPOL.

CAR Contract Notice
The CAR Contract has been brought into compliance and is now on Zip forms. Due to the additions/changes two pages have been added.

Due to IDX Rules and Regulations changes to enhance the security of the MLS data, new links have been developed for use by individual agent websites. NEW MLS DATA LINKS are NOW AVAILABLE to link to, so please make those website changes NOW.

Old links will NOT work after TOMORROW, March 15, 2008.

• If your website links to the customer side of DPOL, your links must be updated. Please check your site for compliance. Correct links are available on the agent side of DPOL using the Service Tab. Click the link for IDX Frameable Search Solutions.

The race for the 1st Congressional District, which includes the Eastern Shore of Maryland, will have two new candidates for the public to vote for this November with the defeat of Congressman Wayne Gilchrest. Both of these candidates are unknown to the Lower Eastern Shore and more importantly, to the real estate community. With this in mind, the CAR Government Affairs Committee has invited both candidates to be guest speakers at one of their meetings. They have invited Democratic Candidate, Queen Anne's County State's Attorney, Frank Kratovil, to speak at their Thursday, March 20, 2008 meeting @ 3:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the CAR Office, 314 Franklin Avenue, Suite 106, Berlin, Maryland. The Government Affairs Committee invites any member of the Coastal Association of REALTORS® interested in hearing Candidate Frank Kratovil speak to attend their meeting. The Republican Candidate, Senator Andy Harris, has been invited to speak on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 10:00 am. Please mark your calendars. A reminder will be given closer to the date of the meeting.

DPOL ACCESS IS NOW SINGLE USER ACCESS

To enhance the security of our MLS system, CAR has changed DPOL access to a single sign on ability as of last Saturday, March 1, 2008.

Important points for easy, no-stress MLS access:

• You are able to sign on and use your password at one computer at a time.
• Administrative personnel will need their own user id and password. Please complete linked form and return to CAR for additional CLERICAL access.
• Please see our forms page to join the Association if additional access is needed for sales agents, or contact the CAR staff if you have questions regarding MLS access.
