Broker Forum & General Membership Meeting
Thursday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, 500 Glen Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21804. Special seating will be provided for Principal Brokers or Designated REALTOR® Managers for each firm (one per firm). The purpose of the meeting is to update the membership on various issues and to continue to answer questions as they are asked by our members. Looking for Volunteers
The Veteran’s Memorial Committee is asking for our help. They need volunteers to help set up and break down, sell T-shirts, bricks, pavers and raffle tickets at the Ocean Pines Craft Fair on Saturday, August 4, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Depending on the amount of volunteers we will split shifts. We’re Looking for Leaders
The CAR Nominating Committee is now considering candidates for Officers, Directors, and Committee Chairs of the association for the 2007-2008 term of office. All nomination forms must be received in the association office no later than Monday, July 16.

Please complete and return to the association office no later than August 1 if you wish to serve on a committee for 2007-2008. If you are currently serving on a committee, please submit the form if you wish to continue your service.

Should All ARM Holders Refinance?
Decades-low mortgage interest rates may be coming to an end, if money markets pay attention to changes in two key indicators: world markets and U.S. productivity. Mortgage interest rates have recently reached 10-month highs, coming perilously close to the psychological hurdle of 7.00 percent for benchmark 30-year, fixed-rate conventional loans. Since then rates have drifted down, but are still half a point higher than they were in May. Full story>>>
