The Coastal Association of REALTORS® participated in the "Invest in Yourself: An Empowerment Seminar for Women" on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Wor-Wic Community College to promote their new outreach program on financial literacy. The Coastal Association of REALTORS® display table featured information on their CreditSmart® Workshops. They are currently providing workshops FREE to community groups in Worcester, Wicomico and Somerset Counties.
The CreditSmart® instructional program was developed by Freddie Mac and covers goal setting, budgeting, managing credit, credit scoring, restoring credit, and information on local, state and federal loan programs available to first time home buyers.
